WHEW! What a week! The sale was awesome. I am so thankful for the volunteers that worked overtime with me till late Saturday night and then came again bright and early Sunday morning to finish. We accomplished alot in a short period of time. I will be working on entering tags from half price day. I know you will all be excited to get your checks and I will be working hard to get everything out in a timely manner. Again thank you for making my first sale as the new JBF Visalia sale a success. I look forward to working with you for many sales to come. I have been trying to put faces with names and consignor numbers! Remember that if you think that you would like at any time to consign at the Fresno JBF Sale please send me an email so I can issue you the same consignor number.

Thanks
Kim

One day left! The half price sale is Saturday from 10-3 make sure to tell your friends there are lots of great deals to be had. How can you resist something for $1.50? The sale has been great. We have learned a few things along the way. See you in the morning because it is almost midnight and I am going to bed.

You guys are the best

Ok, here is where we are at with tags, I have gone back and fixed the hand tags from presale all those should be in and viewable, except for the people that have deleted their tags. If you deleted your tags prior to me doing my download to my desktop early Saturday morning you will not be able to view your tags online at all. So for future reference do not delete your tags until after the sale. Also if there are tags you want to change you must print a new tag. I will not except crossed out red stars with initials I have no way of knowing that those are your initials.

Make sure to tell someone about the sale. We are working on preparing for Saturday, if you have a spare hour or two after you shop please think of volunteering I am offering incentives!

See you at the sale, and I am going to bed! You guys have all been great and I appreciate your patience with the barcoding as we all learn a thing or two. Please save all your questions about barcoding until everything has been officially entered!

Thanks
Kim

Whew, it started out quiet and we were able to move some things around this morning. Then when all my volunteers left at 3 the flood gates were open again! There have been many new things dropped off so come on by. I know there were some people looking for the handmade baby slings, those were dropped off tonight. A little tykes toy box came in and I remember someone asking about some pony things. I saw 2 big horses on the toy table just waiting for a new home.

If you happen to be in the store please be sure to check the items that have lost their tags to claim them so we may re -tag them and get them out on the sales floor.

As soon as I finish typing this I will be scanning in today's barcodes and upload them soon after.

Remember to tell a friend or two about the sale. There are still lots of great items out there.

Also I am still in need of volunteers for Saturday so please email me if you are available. Once again, thank you to the volunteers that have worked overtime to help the sale run smoothly.

One more thing to think about. If you think that you may want to consign at the Fresno Sale in the future, please send me an email so that I may issue you the same consignor number for the Fresno sale. Then with the new barcoding you will be able to switch between sales and not have to create new tags each time with different numbers.

See you soon!

I have figured out a few things today! One that for some reason I am finding out that you are unable to view items that I hand enter. So no panicking when you don't see your item at the sale, and it is not showing up as sold. Two I think I have officially figured out how to upload the tags with no future problems.

There have been lots of new items coming in and this is a reminder that Wednesday is the last day to drop off items, there will be no exceptions! I will be here from 9:00 am till 9:00 pm on Wednesday!

Remember I need volunteers for Saturday during 1/2 price day. There will be an incentive to those that help out. Please email me that you will be here to help out. The more volunteers the quicker checkout will be!

I appreciate everyone that comes to volunteer if even for an hour!

See you at the sale, and remember tell a friend or two to come one down.

Dat Three

Day 3. Whew! So here is the latest on the barcodes, as you can see I got one group of tags to upload to the website these are most of Saturday's barcoded items. There were some barcoded ones that the scanner could not read and I had to hand enter those. Those are entered, but are not uploaded to the website yet for viewing. PLEASE NO PANICKING IF YOU SEE AN ITEM IS NOT AT THE STORE AND YOU DO NOT SEE IT AS SOLD ON WEBSITE! I will be working on scanning Sunday's tags and then attempting to upload both Sunday's and Monday's on Tuesday afternoon while I am at the mall. The mall is where I got the first batch to upload so if I can't get it to upload at home I will wait and try at the mall again. This has been a learning sale for me being the new owner and you guys regarding barcoding. I appreciate your patience. Also I am in need of volunteers for Saturday during the presale, please email me or call me and let me know if you are available to volunteer, there will be an extra incentive to those that can volunteer on Saturday. We are having a great sale and there has been new items that have been coming in. Remember if you have additional items to bring in they must be in by Wednesday, NO EXCEPTIONS!

I am sure most of you are not up at midnight, so you will be reading this on Monday! I have been working to scan the barcodes from Saturday I have scanned in 95% of the tags that were barcoded. The other aprox. 5% are ones that I will have to hand enter so bear with me. We had another great day at the sale. There were lots of awesome items going out the door! Once again I want to thank my volunteers who have worked very hard to make this sale run smoothly, you know who you are. I thank each and everyone one of you from the bottom of my heart. If you are in town pop in and say hello! If you haven't already, tell someone about the sale!

All I can say is what a day! First off I have to thank the volunteers that worked overtime to help get you patient shoppers through the line. I apologize for the waiting times in check out. We are working on addressing the issue. As we continue to grow by leaps and bounds the amount of people that come to shop the presale also increases. The sale always need volunteers and the more volunteers the smoother the sale runs. I will be working on scanning in barcodes as I know you are all anxious to see what has sold. I will update the communication box on the barcoding website as well as keep you updated on here. Again I appreciate all the volunteers and all the patient shoppers. See you during the week, here is to another day of happy shopping!

The Visalia Just Between Friends sale is less than a week away! Finish digging through those closets, garages, play rooms and more for those items that your children have outgrown and no longer need.

Tagging made easy, BARCODING! Go to http://www.myjbftags.com/ Please remember the first time that you visit www.myjbftags.com you must create a new user account and password. This is not your consignor number. You will need to create your own user name and password with no spaces. If you have questions about setting up an account please email me at kcolburn@jbfsale.com. Barcoding will cut your tagging time dramatically!

Don't worry you may still handwrite your tags

Do you want to shop early? Don't forget to sign up to volunteer. To get to the volunteer scheduler, you need to go through the online signup page. When you are going through the online sign up process remember to hit the volunteer button as well as the consignor button. The next page will give you the link to the volunteer scheduler.

I am so excited about the fall sale. I look forward to seeing you all at drop off on Friday September 21, 2007. Please allow at least one hour to drop off your items.
